Press mentions come from Factiva, and we use Lexis/Nexis to find out how many times each star was mentioned on television or on the radio. We comb through dozens of magazines from the past 12 months to count how many times each star appeared on covers. Twitter followers and Facebook fans are measured using Twitter and Facebook searches.

In the U.S., the television newsmagazine "60 Minutes" has been on the air for decades. One of its founding journalists was the late Mike Wallace who passed away last week at age 93. Diehard Tina fans will remember Mike Wallace's visit to the French Riviera house in 1996 and again in 2000 for the television show. During tributes to Mike by his colleagues on '60 Minutes' this week, each mentioned his affection for Tina and the time spent together 'flirting' during those interviews. They showed footage from both original interviews during the past week's tributes. He seemed to have genuine affection for Tina and, it was noted by one of his colleagues, Tina did what 'few interviewees were ever able to do' (to Wallace): bring out his softer side and become a fan himself.

Funny to watch the tributes where in one frame Wallace is making heads of state, dictators, and CEOs sweat in interviews, then in the next see him fawn over Tina. =)
