I know because I get comments through my fan clubs and through all the social networks. My agents tell me, because I think I’m a bit to old to surf the Internet. I’m thinking about returning and doing a world tour, but I haven’t made a decision yet. Maybe it will be a tour in smaller venues, without big stadiums, equipment and exhausting production. I have to decide soon, because I have to speak with my dancers.
I hope she will make decision (the right decision ) soon because I want to know if I can go on vacation or I should start saving money

So they need Tina's decision to plan their own future? Well - that's how I understood that. That could mean also, if she doesn't do something in the nearer future, it could last a longer time, because she would need eventuallay new girls. It't a bit a hard work to bring the dancers to the point her actual dancers are right now - I guess. And what? Tina thinks she is too old to surf!! Hey, if there are any agents, who do some spy-work: my sister in law is 74, surfs in the internet for example on the pages for the railway to get the schedule, wirtes E-mails, did msn during the time her grand-child spent an year in Ireland as an Au-pair, did work on the electronic forms for the taxes, she does e-banking - everything!! It's okay if somebody at this age doesn't like it at all, but too old - no, that doesn't not exist for open minded people!!!Love,Monika
Special for open minded people like Tina But I read once in a newspaper, Tina don't like computers. Somebody should give her a little support... I would be sooo curious about the statements of my fans...

Did you all read that interview??
“It’s one of the female rock-stars with the biggest commercial success in the world. Her strong and sensual voice, her incredible legs and her unforgettable life story contribute and fuel her legendary status.
Tina Turner is one of those women who have the luck to never go out of fashion. And, in the capital of fashion, Paris, we met with her, at the Armani Prive.
At 70 years, with 15 discs on the market and over 25 superhits, the singer wants to enjoy life.
From where do you get your strength ?
From life, without a doubt. I’m a fighter since my youth, I’m already accustomed.
You have a strong presence…
Yes, the Armani clothes make me younger, they take away from my years. Can’t you see how I’m feeling in this tight black outfit ? I am eager to see the show.
What’s your relationship with the designer ?
We’ve known each other for many years and we have a beautiful friendship, although it’s a distant relationship. He has invited me many times at his presentations from Paris and now I felt like it’s the right time to pay him a visit.
What Armani creations do you like ?
My favourites are the short skirts, perfect for dancing, because I have a small torso and I’m feeling better in a short skirt. After decades of struggle with my body, I know in what clothes I will feel good.
How do you like to dress ?
I’m a public person and I get photographed all the time. For my acts, I like the clothes that are a little daring, I owe this to my audience, people with a young spirit, that never go old. The music has no age, it brings joy. When I sing I want my fans to see me full of energy, showing my legs, this is why I keep them pretty. But in everyday life, I wear very simple clothes, I prefer comodity over design.
Do you know that your fans miss you ?
I know because I get comments through my fan clubs and through all the social networks. My agents tell me, because I think I’m a bit to old to surf the Internet. I’m thinking about returning and doing a world tour, but I haven’t made a decision yet. Maybe it will be a tour in smaller venues, without big stadiums, equipment and exhausting production. I have to decide soon, because I have to speak with my dancers.
How do you feel right now ?
In this moment I’m relaxed, withouth big problems. I don’t have the stress of touring or recording, so I’m feeling free. I feel like I’m enjoying life.

Today we learned alot:
Tina doesn't use the internet
All the Tina Turner/Anna Mae profiles on Facebook/Myspace etc - are faked.
THERE ARE TINA SPIES ON THIS FORUM!
Do you think, the "Erwin Bach" Side on facebook are also a fake ?

yes!
There are a lot of people out there who are not into the internet. hard to believe but it's true. There are even lots of young people who are not into the whole facebook, twitter thing.
When it comes to using the internet, honestly what would Tina need it for? When it comes to shopping, banking etc, she has people to that for her. She says she likes going shopping herself in the real place not the virtual world. When she wants to talk to her friends I'm sure she can just call them rather than go on MSN. Also Tina does not strike me as the type of person who needs to read what her fans say about her. She is confident in herself and has very little ego.
I really cannot picture her using the internet. I'd be quite embrassed if she came on here actually. She'd probably think "Gosh! you guys need to get a life!"
I seem to remember either it was for Wildest dreams or What's Love. Tina was doing a blog while she was on the road answering questions from fans. Actually it was some guy typing with Tina sitting next to him. She lasted about three days before the guy was answering the questions on his own. LOL! Does anyone else remember that?

Oh yes, that was a great blog! Not Tina's part perhaps; she just aswered questions from fans, but that stage guy that wrote it wrote some pretty interesting stuff. I think I have the entire blog printed out on paper somewhere.

Tina was on Entertainment Tonight last night. They were talking about We Are The World 25 years ago and they said "There was a hungry Tina Turner." They cut to Tina saying "Fish burger. Fish Burger!! Ah, aah ah, ah!" She kinda did the sounds she made during Whatever You Want. LOL It was funny!

It's not an article about Tina, but the author mentions her.
Quote:
In 1985, many called the "We are the World" record a huge publicity stunt for all involved. However, at least you had some big names on the record: Bruce Springsteen (before he bashed police officers), Michael Jackson (before the Jesus Juice accusations and his untimely death), Tina Turner (well, she's still fabulous!) and many others.

It's so good to see that in popular culture Tina is still considered fit and fabulous. If we do analyse things, when she promoted her last tour one year and a half ago, all the press was talking about her good looks and sex appeal. Pretty revolucionary for a entertainer of almost 70 years old at the time (the same thing happened at the recent Armani appearance).
Tina gave hope to every woman through her performance. You can get older, but you can still be healthy, attractive and full of life. In Tina's case, she's still full of fire. It thrills me. It's beautiful to see how much she changed standards in popular culture.
If we get Madonna singing in black underwear at 50, we should remember Tina opened the doors for that type of thing.

Yes, the only bad side of the whole story is what Keith Richards once said: sometimes people forget HOW GREAT Tina is as a singer 'cause her looks are the general subject of discussion (not for fans, but for the general public). I'm always reading articles about Tina and many many times we hear more about how gorgeous Tina's legs are or how amazing she looks that it does not leave room for Tina's amazing talent to be talked about.

your absolutely correct, but i don't think Tina has ever been really recognized here in America for her voice.
